Description

For nearly four decades, the Museum has offered collectible gold star ornaments with a new design every year. Continue your own tradition, or start a collection for a loved one with this year's dazzling star ornament. The Museum’s 2012 Star Christmas Ornament is based on a decorated porcelain saucer in the Museum’s collection, which was produced at the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory in the early nineteenth century. We’ve adapted the central gilded rosette from this elegant saucer, originally part of a coffee set, for our sparkling openwork ornament.

18K gold overlay. Photo etched. Includes a gold cord for hanging. Gift boxed with a protective flannel pouch. 3'' diam.
