Description

This book aims to open up the world of art to visually impaired people of all ages. Works of art from the Metropolitan Museum illustrate objects used to represent each letter of the alphabet. The raised line drawings, superimposed over the images, give a simplified tactile representation of the object used to illustrate each letter. Suggestions for describing art to people with visual impairments are also included.
