Our miniature collectible shoe ornaments capture the character and grace of actual shoes in the collection of The Costume Institute and have been a Museum tradition for years. The Embroidered Blossoms Shoe Ornament is based on a single shoe produced in France in 1958. The original is made of purple velvet embroidered with blue- green metallic thread and sequins, with pearls and paillettes placed to resemble flowers. This sleek, feminine shoe has an elongated, pointed toe and a very slender heel.

Cast resin. Hand painted and decorated. Includes a gold cord for hanging. Gift boxed. 3 1/2''L x 1 1/4''W x 2 1/2''H.
