In the Metropolitan Museum's Color Magic® Wall Clock, a transparent disc divided into a selection of six colors keeps time, turning as it passes over an identical arrangement of colors below it. As each second passes, the colors on the clock face magically shift and blend, progressing through 60 color variations before starting the process again. Here color also captures a moment in time.
