One of America's foremost decorative artists at the turn of the twentieth century, Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933) was a master of many mediums, although his innovative work in glass remains the foundation of his legacy. Within the Museum's collection is an original Tiffany Studios design drawing (ca. 1905–10) for a leaded-glass lampshade, which is bedecked with clusters of sprightly blue flowers. Our lovely floral bangle is based on this original lampshade design.
