Our sparkling bracelet is developed from the snowflakes on a charming 1950s Christmas card in the Museum’s Burdick Collection featuring falling snowflakes with gilding and applied glitter. The Burdick Collection represents the life work of Jefferson R. Burdick (1900–1963), who was devoted to collecting and cataloging trade cards and other types of paper collectibles. His collection offers a delightful journey through nineteenth- and twentieth-century American culture, with its massive assortment of advertising cards, baseball cards, greeting cards, postcards, and Christmas cards.
