The whimsical design on our correspondence cards is taken from a hair ornament (ca. 1904) crafted by Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 18481933) now in the Museum's collection. The original is made of platinum, enamel, and gemstone, and consists of two dragonflies resting on two dandelion seed balls.
