Created in partnership with Cornelia Parker and weR2, this exclusive scarf celebrates Transitional Object (PsychoBarn), the artist's installation for the 2016 Roof Garden Commission. Its graphic design is taken from a close- up crop from a photograph of a rural barn that Parker (British, born 1956) used as the source material for her site-specific work at The Met, in which she merges two iconic examples of American architecture: the red barn, and the infamous mansion on a hill from Alfred Hitchcock's movie Psycho. Photographed by New York-based photographer Alex Fradkin, the striking black-and-white image on the scarf shows the barn coming down while the viewer is looking through it.
weR2 is a collaborative venture that produces new functional objects inspired by and made with contemporary artists.
