The Museum’s collection includes a brightly patterned kimono sash, or obi, from the mid-20th century. The silk shantung obi is printed allover with stylized butterflies (
chocho), a popular motif associated with springtime in Japanese poetry. Our vivid top is adapted from this elegant obi.
Available in small, medium, large, or x-large. Cotton blend. Slim fit. Cap sleeves. Made in the USA. Machine washable.
