Art History

Trained as a textile dyer, Suzuki Kiitsu (Japanese, 17961858) studied painting under Sakai Hoitsu (Japanese, 17611828), with whom he prepared an illustrated book, One Hundred Paintings by Kōrin, a compendium of classic Rinpa art.
