This glittering adornment in the Art Deco style evokes a luxurious bracelet in the collection of The Costume Institute at The Met. The original was produced about 1935 by the American jewelry firm of Trifari, which was established in New York City in the 1910s.
High-end Art Deco jewelry of the early 1930s was often "all white," with platinum or white gold settings lavishly embellished with close-set diamonds. Trifari's sparkling fashion bracelet with glass stones suggests the same chic aesthetic—as do our lively aptations.
