Clock Dial Scarf
Our timepiece-inspired silk square scarf recalls the decorative dial on a magnificent tall clock in The Met collection. Lend its drama in chic black and white to your look.
The original clock was made in 1772 by Benjamin Willard of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Crafted of mahogany and cherry, this handsome clock is a characteristic example of the Willard brothers' collaborative work from about 1771–75 and is well documented. New England clockmakers revolutionized the industry in the early 19th century.
