Description

The charming design of our pocket square was adapted from a set of playing cards in The Met Cloisters known as the Cloisters Playing Cards (ca. 1475-80), the only complete deck of 15th-century hand-painted playing cards. Originally produced in Burgundy, there are four suits, each with a king, queen, knave, and 10 pip cards; the suit symbols are based on the hunt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Charming pocket square This was a little something extra gift for my son who frequently wears pocket squares while teaching English classes. He loved this one with the Cloisters playing cards. He went to university in New York and was familiar with the Cloisters. A charming little gift.
