Put pen to paper in artful style. These luxurious single note cards feature golden dragonflies embossed on high-quality paper stock, making a memorable impression. The design source for our elegant correspondence cards is a hair ornament (ca. 1904) in The Met collection that depicts, in precious materials, a pair of delicate dragonflies resting on dandelions.
Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933) was an artistic giant of the Gilded Age who embraced virtually every medium. Looking to wildlife and botanical sources, he and other turn-of-the-century artists employed dragonflies as a favorite motif to convey the beauty and transience of the natural world.

I loved these gold embossed correspondence cards, but the dragonfly cards are made with the flimsiest paper. These cards used to have a heavy, quality card stock. Please bring back the original card stock- and bring back the Sun and Dragon embossed cards!
Less than impressed with the note cards. Basic white cardstock. Flimsy, unlined plain white envelopes. I expected more. The gold dragonfly imprint is cute, but not amazing. Would not recommend.
I am thrilled to see that the Met is still selling these beautiful cards. They are so lovely and I have been enjoying my correspondence using them. I'm always proud to send to all my friends. Doris Forbes
These are beautiful in simplicity and gold-embossed dragonflies. I love them for thank you and thinking of you notes. People always comment on the cards, as well as the sentiment. I'm out and thrilled to find them again.
My goodluck charms are dragonflies, butterflies, and hummingbirds. I love images that have these creatures featured. The first supply of dragonfly personal card stationary was a Met collection I bought at Papyrus card/stationary store. The paper quality is beyond anything else you'll try. The gold embossed dragonfly pair is perfectly placed. It quickly became my go to salutation card. I love it. My friends call it "Mary's card!" I was frantic when Papyrus recently closed. After days of searching on-line, The Met carried my cards!! I was so extremely happy, I've stocked up. Look at this card and the others carried on their site. You won't be disappointed.
I already own these notecards and bought another set for a holiday gift. The card stock is heavy and the embossed dragonflies are elegant. I will buy again.
