Cypriot Carved Bead Linear Drop Earrings
Art earrings make unique gifts for her.
These sculptural earrings echo the carved biconical shape of ancient Cypriot beads dating to around 1600–600 BCE, now in The Met's Greek and Roman Art collection. While the original necklace is made of chlorite, an earthy greenish-gray stone that was used in the ancient Near East for creating vessels, beads, and other small decorative objects, our bead drop earrings employ glossy agate in shades of gray and blue for a contemporary look.
