Description

Our bold bracelet evokes elements from an ancient Egyptian broad collar in The Met collection. The open-cuff design features 18K gold plate with rows of colorful carnelian, turquoise, and lapis beads strung on flexible steel memory wire.

By the New Kingdom (ca. 1550–1070 B.C.), broad collar necklaces were the most frequently worn pieces of jewelry among the royalty and elite in ancient Egypt. The original broad collar belonged to one of the three foreign wives of Thutmose III; the king's name inscribed on the back indicates it was a gift to his wife.
