Description

Photography by Nicholas Alan Cope
Essay by Mark Wigley

Giving readers a rare glimpse into the The Costume Institute's spring 2017 exhibition, Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between, the Exhibition Album presents 21 images of the gallery space, half without and half with objects installed. It highlights the unprecedented design, which is the result of a collaboration between exhibition curator Andrew Bolton and Rei Kawakubo.

This limited edition concertina-fold portfolio will be available exclusively at The Met Store beginning mid-May 2017, and includes commentary by architectural theorist and critic Mark Wigley who is Professor and Dean Emeritus at the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP).
