Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful photographs I was so excited when I saw that a catalog was being offered to compliment the exhibit. As I cannot afford to fly to New York to view the exhibit, I was looking forward to soaking up as much information as I could. The photograph of the jewels used in the exhibit is splendid and you do get to see a lot of detail of the workmanship. I was disappointed, however, with the dearth of material about JAR. His sources of inspiration and creative process were barely discussed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gem of a book! Wonderful catalog, beautifully photographed.  The introduction is brilliant, it gives you the context and history of why this man is so important in the world of jewellery.  Grab a copy before they're gone, if you love beautiful jewellery, you will love this book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from beautifully presented and photographed this is a beautifully presented and affordable catalogue showcasing an amazing artist and his team of artisans - a best kept secret until now. While the essay is informative about JAR's process, background and inspirations, I would have enjoyed an essay written by a jewellery curator from the Museum who could place JAR's unique work in context of the history of the medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This book is a keeper If you want a reminder of what a genius can do in the field of jewelry, buy this book. I bought this book twice, the first one I gave to a friend from abroad who told me he was a collector of jewelry. Then I bought another one for myself, again, because I did not want to be without such a beautiful reference of amazing creations.
