In accordance with Proposition 65, for items that meet FDA standards, but exceed Proposition 65 limits, we issue the following warning to our California customers or gift recipients: "The materials used in some of our decorative decals, paints, glazes, and lacquers, or in our crystal, glass or metal pieces contain lead and/or cadmium, chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm."
Description

Our delightful glass is based on a stunning window panel by master decorative artist Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933). The window panel, now in the Museum's collection of the American Wing, features jewel-like clusters of grapes on trailing vines silhouetted against a distant sky. The panel's textured glass lends a three- dimensional quality and a dazzling iridescence to the grapes. Our glass evokes the rich colors of the original piece.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful design This glass is stunning, a beautiful example of Tiffany design at an affordable price. I bought it for myself, planning to use it as a decorative object rather than a drinking glass. I like the size and heft when holding it, but have one major complaint, the reason I gave it four stars, not five. The design is all-around, so you cannot really see it unless the glass were filled with milk (highly unlikely, wouldn't you think?) or a round candle. The picture on-line is somewhat deceptive. I have not been able to find a candle of the right size yet, but hope to, so I can really show off the beautiful colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful glass Bought this glass as a consolation prize of sorts for myself. I really wanted the magnet set but that wasn't practical for me but I love stained glass so when I saw the tumbler I thought it made a lovely consolation gift to myself as it would allow me to still have a stained glass of sorts. My husband keeps trying to rain on my parade by finding fault with it but I'm just ignoring the grinch and enjoying the beauty and pleasantness of the glass. It is lovely to look at and while others might use it only as a decoration I find it makes a wonderful iced tea glass.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So sad! I received two of these lovely glasses as a Christmas gift. Sadly, they did not come with a warning to wash them by hand and they have faded badly just in the one week since I received them. I now see that there is a warning on the web site but as I did not order them I didn't see it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right gift I bought two sets of these glasses for my youngest daughter who works and lives in Manhatan. The two sets were my gift for her birthday and she has told me they have been very useful for visits of friends of hers for they are very beautiful and different from ordinary glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beautiful thing to own I bought this for my mother to bring to mind our wonderful day at the Cloisters hearing the 40 part motet. I wish I had one of my own!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Reality did not meet my expectation by far. I was gone when my glasses arrived and I didn't see them till more than a week later. They are SO dark green that the other colors of the lovely Tiffany image can't accurately be determined unless the glasses are held up to a light bulb. Not nearly as translucent as the images on the website. Even backlit the green overwhelms and makes the images difficult to see or identify..I will likely return them unused if I can do so without the receipt etc, which my daughter had tossed while I was out of state. I am heartbroken as I love Tiffany images but my glasses do not resemble what I expected based on the website images.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicate vineyard palette These are exquisite with subtle but distinct color.  There is also depth by being able to see through the glass to the artwork on the other side.  Very bits of autumnal perfection!
