Fashion designer Michael Kors created this graphic tote in celebration of The Met's 2026 Costume Institute exhibition, Costume Art, which explores depictions of the dressed body across The Met's vast collection. Focusing primarily on Western art from prehistory to the present, Costume Art examines connections between garments from The Costume Institute and artworks from the Museum. One theme from the exhibition—the naked body—inspired this design, which features a row of skin-toned swatches in an ombré gradient. Made from natural canvas with saddle-hued leather trim and a silver-tone MK charm, the tote has an internal pocket and gusseted sides that expand its capacity and help maintain its tailored shape.
