Pamela Love Ankh Ring
This carved ring features a contemporary interpretation of the ancient ankh motif in brilliant turquoise, a stone that was associated with fertility and vegetation for its blue-green color. An Egyptian symbol of life, the ankh abounds in the Museum's galleries.
We're pleased to present this collection in collaboration with jewelry designer Pamela Love. Founded in Brooklyn in 2007, Love's eponymous line has since expanded to include the creations of skilled and sustainability-minded artisans around the world. Inspired by The Met's Egyptian Art holdings, these adornments celebrate the timeless ritual of wearing jewelry.
