Description

Paul Klee (German, born Switzerland, 1879-1949) is known for his simple stick figures, suspended fish, moon faces, eyes, arrows, and quilts of color, which he orchestrated into fantastic and childlike yet deeply meditative works. Our pouch features a detail adapted from Klee's Colorful Architecture (1917) in The Met collection, an angular composition suggesting roofs and houses.
