Paul Klee Structural I Tie
A prolific artist, writer, and teacher, Paul Klee (German, born in Switzerland, 1879–1940) was a distinctive force in twentieth-century art. He made playful, inventive works characterized by a highly individual style of abstracted forms and symbols. Our distinctive tie design is developed from Klee's Structural I (gouache on cardboard, bordered in ink, 1924) in the Museum's collection.
