Rated 5 out of 5 by from My wife and I saw this sculpture in the garden of the Rodin Museum in Paris, and were touched by its poignancy. The work vividly and movingly captures Eve's shame and sadness. I was very pleased that the Met offered a small scale version of the sculpture, which I gave to my wife on her 60th birthday. It is a wonderful piece, and a daily reminder of that moment of discovery when we first laid eyes on her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPERB!! This sculpture is extremely poignant. It brilliantly reflects Eve's excruciating shame. The sculpture is large enough to clearly reveal the details.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rodin's Eve I had Rodin's Adam from another source. And I was looking desperately for a bronze Eve of similar size. But I couldn't find one, until I realized that the Met sold the Eve sculpture online. So, I purchased it to complete my little collection of Rodin Museum memorabilia. My only regret is that I didn't purchase Adam from the Met too, so as to have a more perfectly matching Adam & Eve pair.
