Rated 5 out of 5 by from Russian Dragonfly very nice. A "friend" informed me me that the "Russian Dragonfly" is actually a Damselfly as they have similar bodies, but the dragonfly has four wings. A moot point. My sweetheart wears it most of the time and says she likes it a lot, which is, of course, a good thing. The only criticism I have is in the display ad which, I think, shows the actual "Russian Dragonfly" which happens to be encrusted with diamonds and emeralds, which this pin is not. I never expected the diamonds, but I was surprised at how dissimilar the two appear in this area. Still, it is a striking and beautiful brooch often praised by those who see it. I am glad I got it for her.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My husband bought this for me for Christmas. He immediately said it wasn't worth what he paid. He gave it to me anyway since I had requested the pin. The first time I wore it the pearl fell off and was lost. I also found it not worth what he paid and was defective. We returned it for a refund.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cheaper looking I brought this pin in Nov. 25th, 2015. And it takes 5 weeks of the shipment. Finally got it today. However, the eyes part and pearl of the dragonfly looks very cheap. Totaly different from the picture. Recommend not to purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap looking I was looking forward to this pin to show up. It is nothing I expected. The quality is not there. Not easy to put on, the crystals look cheap, enamel is thin, the pearl looks very plastic. Very sad since the idea was great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whimsical brooch In October my mom mentioned she might like this for Christmas.  She had forgotten the conversation by the time she opened the box but was very happy to find this lovely sparkley pin.  It is a good size and a little quirky, not too  predictably sweet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very attractive This is not the first time I have purchased jewelry from the Met.  Have always been very happy with my purchases.  The Russian Dragonfly Pin is an exceptional piece.  Received many compliments.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely Pin My only disappointment with the pin was that it looked a little flat, or less dimensional, than I thought it would be from the photograph. Also, the eyes are enameled, not stones, which i did not understand from the photograph and description. But it is still a lovely pin, highly detailed and well crafted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful decorative pin I bought this pin to use on a needlepoint design. It turned out absolutely perfect. The Golden Dragonfly.
