Send winter greetings with beautiful engraved cards showcasing details from three Snow Crystal gelatin silver prints in The Met collection by Wilson A. Bentley (American, 1865-1931). A self-educated farmer from Vermont, Bentley was a pioneer in the field of photomicrography. Using a microscope fitted to a bellows camera, he was the first person to photograph a single snowflake.

The Met Store is pleased to partner with fellow long-standing New York institution, Dempsey & Carroll, on this exclusive set of hand-engraved notecards. Stationery engravers since 1878, Dempsey & Carroll provides the finest engraving on rich cotton- fiber papers to the world's most discerning clientele.
