Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I bought this for my great nieces along with the stuffed blue hippo and I'm so unhappy with the book, I'm not giving it to them. It has little flavor of Egypt, a dumb story about a blue hippo being entombed, waking up and wandering into Africa to reunite with his family. The illustrations are just OK. I really expected something better -- perhaps how the hippo acquired its blue color or its black markings. The stuffed hippo was great. Come up with a story of your own
