This mouse pad is very beautiful, but it prohibits easy hand movement. What appears to actual wool fibers (or synthetic) fails to let my hand to flow. Either left or right, up and down... It becomes a halting movement. Pad Doesn't work well.

Using this for miniature dollhouse decorating ... yes, it is a bit thick but all is forgiven because of the beautiful pattern and the fringe (uncommon for mini rugs in this price range). Unless you’re comparing to handmade, silk needlepoint creations which are VERY expensive, this rug is much better than anything in this price range.

I've been eyeing this for far longer than I care to admit, and am SO happy I treated myself for Christmas (along with a couple of other things). The MouseRug is gorgeous, functional, and a wonderful conversation starter; people at work stop all the time to ask me where I got it. I'll definitely be gifting them to other people in the future.
