Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exquisite Roman sculpture! The Met is known for some wonderful reproduction sculptures, and I have many of them, but this one is elegant! It is very large and commands a spot of importance in the home. I would have loved to see it on a black stand or marble stand but nevertheless, it is wonderful and I catch myself looking at it often. It is perfect in every detail and looks good in any setting. I collect ancient art and this was perfect for my collection. Thalia is beautiful from any angle and the color is perfect. I am amazed that this is a reproduction because it looks like the original. Very highly recommended for any lover of art or ancient statuary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant Bust This elegant bust sits atop a library bookcase in our house and adds an attractive classical touch to the room. The bust itself is a bit more gray in hue than the photo represents. Nonetheless, it is lovely and was a good value. Great care was taken for the packing and shipping of this piece. Nice job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional service! I work in a museum in Stockholm and I love antique roman sculptures. I bought this beautiful head and I was so afraid it wouldn´t be in one piece when it got here. But I was wrong. It was perfectly wrapped and I received it very quickly. I´m so pleased with it. Thank you so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thalia, Muse of Comedy Sculpture. This is a stunningly beautiful and high quality reproduction sculpture that is rich in colour (sandstone look) and rich in details. I was guided to take a chance on it by reviews of previous purchasers, and it turned out to be the right decision without doubt. I ordered a matt-finished, plain black-stained wooden 'block type' pedestal base from another source (which suits it perfectly), although it is still perfectly acceptable as a 'stand alone' sculpture without a pedestal, but the latter - in my opinion - enhances its beauty and aesthetic sophistication. It is now sitting in an ideal spot in my house, giving me pleasure every time I look at it (and all the more so, when I am simultaneously listening to classical music). It's true that this is not an inexpensive item, but it is ultimately worth it, given that it will basically last you your entire lifetime and give you an aesthetic uplift every time you look at it. Your guests and visitors will also be impressed (although you really should get it for yourself as a special treat, not to solicit compliments from your unsuspecting neighbours and friends). In my specific case, I got it as a treat for my 50th birthday and I couldn't be happier with my choice! A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! In conclusion, I definitely recommend the elegantly demure and dignified Ms. Thalia; she really is one classy lady. MM (Jordanian citizen)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, classic piece I've had this sculpture for quite a while and love it now just as much as I did when I first received it. It's beautifully crafted. I've looked for some years now for a bust of similar quality and haven't found one yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed The finish in the photo does look different to the actual object and appears more synthetic and grey than I would have liked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely beautiful After a few months of admiring Thalia, I finally decided to splurge as an early birthday present to myself. I cannot say enough about how much I adore her, and I've noticed I've been coming up with some really good witticisms since she arrived.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed! Had to return this item for a full refund as it was grey in color and not as pictured. Additionally, the placement of the center of gravity was not precise and so for in order for the sculpture to stand upright, it had to be leaned against the wall. Something obviously not to my liking, considering the cost of this item.
