I purchased this book for my 10 year old grandson, Vincent. _x000D_
It is a small book with van Gogh's wonderful works accompanied by the artist's own words translated in verse form. Absolutely magical, and one that will grow with him over time. I would recommend this to all parents as well.
I bought this book for a family center at our church. It is a wonderful book for people of all ages, not just for children. Van Gogh's paintings are reproduced in all their glory.
I remembered with great fondness the fact that our own son had such a great enjoyment of Van Gogh when he was a three-year-old. The colors, the richness, and all of those things really captured. He could identify the pictures on sight and arch became a real part of his life now that he is an adult. Seeing this book available gave us a great opportunity to continue that gift to his nephews and nieces. The young man we gave this to was delighted to receive it and captivated by the rich colors and beauty. It was like being able to put an art museum in his hands. Very much loved.
